Arsenal have confirmed that they have signed Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City for a reported fee of £45 million after Mikel Arteta had identified the Brazilian as his primary target to improve the London club’s attacking options. Jesus has signed a long-term deal with the London club.

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has admitted that he is not happy to see a respected figure such as Antonio Rudiger leave the club although he acknowledged that the German’s decision to leave the club should be respected. Rudiger will leave the European champions on a free transfer in the summer.

Chelsea attacker Hakim Ziyech has announced that he has retired from international football and will not represent Morocco anymore in any official capacity. The Moroccan attacker was not selected for the Africa Cup of Nations after a dispute with national team head coach Vahid Halilhodzic.
