India beat South Africa by 10 wickets in the third T20I in Chennai. South Africa had a time with the bat as Pooja Vastrakar and Radha Yadav shined with the ball and restricted the Proteas side to just 84 runs while Shafali Varma and Smriti Mandhana sealed the deal for India in just 10.5 overs.

Brief score: INDW 88/0  (10.5) [Smriti  54 (40), Shafali 27  (25); Kapp 0/3 (2)] beat SAW 84 (17.1) [Brits 20 (23), Bosch 17 (14); Vastrakar 4/13 (3.1)] by 100 runs.
After a rain-abandoned game, the Indian women's team was eager to avenge their loss from the first match. India Captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and decided to field first at Chepauk. The Women in Blue got off to a strong start with Shreyanka Patil and Pooja Vastrakar dismissing Laura Wolvaardt and Marizanne Kapp during the powerplay. The Indian bowlers maintained their dominance restricting South Africa to 39/2 by the end of six overs. South Africa's troubles continued when Deepti Sharma took the wicket of the in-form Tazmin Brits in the eighth over. With Anneke Bosch and Chloe Tryon at the crease, South Africa reached 57/3 at the halfway mark. Vastrakar was great with the ball picking the wickets of Bosch and Nadine de Klerk in the 11th over leaving South Africa's scorecard at 63/5. The Proteas women struggled further as Radha Yadav dismissed Annerie Dercksen. With wickets falling regularly, the South African batting lineup collapsed and they were bowled out for 84 runs in 17.1 overs, with Vastrakar achieving her career-best T20I figures of 4/13.

In response, India had an explosive start with openers Shafali Varma and Smriti Mandhana reaching 40/0 by the end of the powerplay. The pair maintained their excellent partnership, taking the scorecard to 65/0 by the ninth over. The Proteas bowlers struggled to break the opening stand as India steadily moved toward victory. With only 20 runs needed from 11 overs, the match was nearly decided in favour of the Women in Blue. Ultimately, the openers completed the chase in 10.5 overs, leading India to a 10-wicket win with the T20I series levelling at 1-1
