You must be wondering why South Africa are not wearing their new World Cup kit, don’t worry it is just for one game. As both South Africa and Bangladesh’s jerseys are green, RSA are wearing the yellow jersey. India will also be wearing a different jersey, an orange one, against Afghanistan and England

The Mystery ball fail! 

Rabada was trying to bowl a mystery delivery to Tamim Iqbal but couldn’t grip the ball and as a result, the ball sprung out of his hand before he could even complete his delivery. Looks like it is still work in progress! 

The Lungi - Tamim showdown

Sometimes battles between the bowler and batsman can be really competitive! That what we saw with Lungi Ngidi and Tamim Iqbal. Iqbal defended the ball from Ngidi and was out of his crease. Ngidi saw this as an opportunity and quickly aimed at the stumps after collecting the ball. Tamim Iqbal was stunned but was quick to put his bat in the path and wasn’t impressed with Ngidi’s actions! There is going to be a lot of battles like this in the World Cup! 

World Cup in an apple! 

The fans who get a chance be shown on TV always come up with something creative. Today we saw Bangladesh fans carved the World Cup on an Apple!

Now this is something you will never expect. There was a man who had an umbrella to beat the sun and this is how he was doing it! What a legend!

The bottling contest! 

There were 2 brain fades involved leading up to Quinton De Kock’s run-out. First Raheem dropped QDK’s catch, then there was a huge miscommunication between Markram and QDK which resulted in QDK’s wicket.

This Bangladeshi was so tensed that his friend had to give him a head massage to calm him down!

Mahmadullah dropped an easy catch of David Miller and immediately the crowd behind him started chirping. He immediately turned around and asked them to shut up by the infamous finger on the lips gesture!
