The clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders went till the very last ball. And that couldn't have happened if Rishabh Pant didn't make the save by playing football on a ball which was going for a wide. Fans saw Pant showcase his football skills in this game.
Rishabh Pant has received a lot of praises following LSG’s win over Kolkata Knight Riders. And these praises are not just for his captaincy, it was for his wicket-keeping skills. A moment in this game happened where Pant defied gravity to save runs for his team which eventually turned out to be a crucial moment for the game.
A delivery was going for a wide and it could have also resulted in four extra runs. But that could not happen with Rishabh Pant standing behind the stumps, as he decided to save the day. He first went on to make a dive to catch the ball but that didn't work out as he expected.
As the ball went towards the other side, he used his foot to tackle the ball in the air and prevent it from going for a boundary. This was a legendary save by the LSG skipper, as fans just can't keep calm after watching the same. It even made some fans think that Pant was previously a football player.
