Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants have now given consecutive thrillers to the fans in IPL 2026. The match started well with KKR doing well with the bat. Ajinkya Rahane and Angkrish Raghuvanshi gave a strong start to the team, as they both scored in 40s.
Following their wickets, the run rate slowed down to some extent. But Rovman Powell and Cameron Green stood till the end, which helped KKR to post 181 runs for the loss of 4 wickets. Lucknow Super Giants had a tough time to start the chase, as the team lost early wickets in the form of their top order.
But Mukul Choudhary and Ayush Badoni were able to keep the team alive in this game and help them to chase the target. Even though Badoni lost his wicket after scoring 54, Mukul remained till the end to ensure that LSG bags the win with ease. The team ended up completing the chase on the final ball, winning the game by 3 wickets.
Here's how Twitter reacted to this win.

Mukul Choudhary knew that he shouldn't fear while attempting to run a bye, since Avesh Khan was standing at the other end.
Captaincy Questioned
Cameron Green had 3 overs left and you give the ball the Saini Oh my goodness What kind of a captain are you Rahane. It's just heartbreaking to see KKR suffer like this. Big changes needed next year. You can wrap up this season already.😂

Ajinkya Rahane’s captaincy is now really being questioned. Cameron Green bowled well, and he also had three overs left to ball, but ultimately, it was Navdeep Saini who was handed.
