Twitter trolls Sri Lanka as middle order collapses after a good start against Australia
It was a day to forget for Sri Lanka as they started off well with both their openers, Dimuth Karunaratne (97) and Kusal Perera (52) giving them a good start but the middle order collapsed quickly to give Australia a win. The Twitterati quickly started trolling the Lankans after their loss.
Brief Scores: Australia 334/7 in 50 overs (Aaron Finch 153, Steve Smith 73; Dhananjaya de Silva 2-40, Isuru Udana 2-57) beat Sri Lanka 247/9 in 45.4 over (Dimuth Karunaratne 97, Kusal Perera 52; Mitchell Starc 4-55, Kane Richardson 3-47) by 87 runs
It was painful indeed!
Frustrating to watch such Cricket. Teams losing their way from commanding position, like Pakistan did vs Australia & like Sri Lanka are doing right now
— Saurabh (@Boomrah_)
Carrying out their duties as planned!
Starc is doing what he is known for 😏😎😏😎
— Abhi (@kingkohli__fan)
And parera done what he known for 😂😂
I know how you feel!
I can't make Any differences between Srilanka and Westindies.. Both plays cricket without using brain. None of the Either team knows whom to attack and whom to defend..
— Rahul Raj (@IamRahulRaJ1)
Maybe teams like Ireland can come up instead of them!
should be relegated ..
— Ankit Shah (@ankitshah1091)
And the takeaway from this match is...
And Sri Lanka again remind us that they are Sri Lanka.

Sri Lankan fans right now!
hopefully last international series for thisara perera ..good luck for the future brother
— Rahul (@rahulmenon007)
Coming to think of it...
And when it comes to chasing, Sri Lanka is Pakistan in blue jerseys.

How to tell a good team and an average team apart?
Not being able to capitalise a good start, that's the difference between average and best team !
— anonymous (@beinganonym)
Sri Lankans legends will be ashamed at this performance!
Sri Lanka! Are you serious ???
— Sharan (@SharanRoars)
Throwing wickets left, right and centre. WHAT A SHAME!
With this kind of attitude, you will lose very badly and rightly so.
Always!
A team that doesn't know how to win can find a way to lose from any situation.
— Sanchit (@sanchitd43)
Is this some new World Cup record?
Sri Lanka lost their four wickets betweens only 17 runs.
— Shohan Hassan Shakib (@ShohanHasanAnik)
Pretty sure someone in Sri Lanka is thinking about this right now!
Now sri lankan fans should file complaint against their team for their middle order batting collapse.

Absolutely Rubbish batting this by these experience players
