IPL 2016 | Twitter reacts as Sunrisers Hyderabad overcome Gayle storm to win IPL 9
Sunrisers Hyderabad won the ninth edition of the IPL as they beat Royal Challengers Bangalore in a high-scoring match. David Warner led from the front, and even a Gayle storm could not stop the Orange Army from lifting the trophy. Twitter responded with great tweets and here are the best of them.
When David Warner elected to bat first...
"Had I known [that SRH wanted to bat], we wouldn't have come out for the toss. I wanted to bowl anyway," - Virat Kohli at the toss
— Cricbuzz (@cricbuzz)
Well… the decision was surprising but proved to be the right one eventually.
david warner has won the toss and asked virat kohli to win the IPL

Small, smaller, smallest!
Wanted to buy front row tickets for the at Chinnaswamy stadium. Then realized every row is a front row its that small

Vijay Mallya disliked this tweet.
If RCB wins today SBI CEO will come to collect the trophy
— Humourmania (@iSankumar)
Well, atleast close enough.
Virat on seeing SRH's innings (read Yuvi and Warner's) & his bowlers/fielders helping them

When David Warner thrashed the RCB bowlers initially.
SRH fans currently!
— HoldingWilleyCricket (@holdingwilley)
Seems a legit way to get him out.
Maybe the only way to get Warner's wicket now. 😉

When you can’t get them out, try to knock them out, right?
Virat Kohli is trying out new ways of stopping skipper !

Classic Ramiz Bhai!

Ramiz Raja : Yeh inka signature shot hai
Ben Cutting just went full mental at the end.
Cutting is cutting down RCB's chances of winning this match
— The Bad Doctor (@DOCTORATLARGE)
And it was brutal. Both the times!
The last time a Watson got attacked so badly, I was watching a really nerve-racking climax of Sherlock.
— Sorabh Pant (@hankypanty)
That legendary performance deserved it!
Watson Scored 61 In Just 24 Balls. Just Made Him Group Admin Of Our Whatsapp Group.

GAYLE STORM HAD ARRIVED!
fans right now.
— Sir Lazy (@iLazyLad)
Not sure how that would help, but worth a try maybe?
SRH bowlers should just throw the ball directly to the boundary if its Gayle on strike
— The UnReal Times (@TheUnRealTimes)
That analogy!
Chris Galye may be West Indian Kumbhakarna.
— Sorabh Pant (@hankypanty)
A giant.
Was asleep for the whole tournament.
Alarm went off only in the final.
A night of great analogies, right?
Chinnaswamy stadium is the Parthiv Patel of cricket grounds.
— Sagarcasm (@sagarcasm)
And they just kept on coming…
Gayle getting out & ABD coming in is like Hulk resting and superman taking charge.
— Sir Lazy (@iLazyLad)
Let’s get a petition started.
For matches at Chinnaswamy stadium, ICC should allow 4 fielders outside the boundary rope, 2 outside stadium and 1 outside city.
— Psycho (@i_Psycho)
It went south very quickly for RCB.
RCB batsmen are going down just like the Kingfisher's stocks.
— Alekhya Das (@iAlekhyaDas)
Hard to debate that after looking at the run-out
Stuart Binny runs faster when it is about bringing drinks for players but NOT running between the wickets.
— ओमर अब्दुल्लाह (@abdullah_0mar)
