What a day it has been! Ahmedabad played some excellent badminton and so did Awadhe. But in the game of shuttle and racquet, there could only be one winner and as the history would have it, Awadhe scamper home with a 4-3 win. 

So that's all that we have for you today. It was our pleasure bringing the game for you..

Two point game again!!! Can the Masters comeback now???

WHAT A COMEBACK!!! It's 10-10 now. Lee just dominating the game now.

Tough break for the vistors. They now trail by two. 

What a shot!!! Tang hits three smashes. All are returned but he changes to a drop and secures the point.

Two back-to-back points for the hosts before the visitors sneak in one to go into the break two points ahead. This is turning into a real showstopper. I just want to see another decider today. What a day this has been! 

Tang picks one behind the back but cant get to Nandgopal's drop. 

Great return the Nandgopal. One point lead for the Masters.

AND JUST LIKE THAT IT's 4-4

The Warriors come fighting back with two quick points the second just creeps over the net.

MAKE THAT FOUR!!! WHAT A START!!!

And it's 2 in a row. Great smash by Nandgopal.

And the visitors take the lead in the second.

Nandgopal with the error and it's advantage Awadhe in the end. 

After a great challenge by the hosts, Setiawan and Tang have made a couple of bad errors and we have another Golden Point now!!

But here come the Masters. One point game!!

Two points in a row for Setiawan and Tang now. Two points away from the game.

And just like that we are level. All Lee here. Can the Masters do the unthinkable?

Tang with the error brings the game within two points.

Great play by the visitors. They have won three in a row. Is a comeback on? Based on how the day has gone, I won't bet against it.

Another point for the Warriors. The Masters just can't keep up with the tempo. Another point for the hosts.

But here come the Masters' set-up by a Lee smash.

In a blink of an eye it's 1-1 in the match decider

2008 Olympic gold medalist Hendra Setiawan will be leading the charge in men’s doubles for the Warriors, and he will be partnered by veteran Hong Kong star Tang Chun Man. The duo decimated the Hunters in their last game and will provide a huge challenge for the Smash Masters’ specialists.

Let the game begin.

Kidambi Nandagopal and L.H.C Reginald will now take on the duo of Hendra Setiawan and Tang Chun Man in the last match of the tie (men's doubles encounter). Nandagopal looked like a seasoned pro in the last match against Hyderabad Hunters, but this is not going to be easy.  

Saina 14 - 15 Tai

How good was that!!! Saina is yet again left flat footed by Tai's deception. Not only has Tai won her game, but she has also brought her team level on the night.

Tai gets one back with a great drop shot. 

TWO POINT LEAD FOR SAINA NOW!!! SHE NEEDS JUST TWO MORE!!! NAIL BITING STUFF IN LUCKNOW!!

Saina hits one long but makes up for it with a smash that comes off the net for a lucky point. 

Two back to back points for Saina. She is in the lead now. Can she actually pull this off?

After Tai restores the two point lead, she commits a service error and hands the initiative to Saina

Judges it right this time. ONE POINT GAME. 

Saina misjudges a serve and heads into the break with a two point deficit.

After Saina hits a smash right at Tai to level the game, the latter comes back and retakes the lead again.

Saina misjudges a drive to hand Tai the lead. But makes up for it by perfectly judging a Tai serve that falls long.

An uncharateristic error at the net by Tai levels the score.

Make that 4 consecutive points for Tai. This is incredible. She has just raised her game to a whole new level now.

If Tai decides to play in the PBL everywhere, Prannoy's record might be in trouble

AND SAINA'S MISERY ENDS. BUT NOT FOR LONG. SHE WILL HAVE TO COME OUT FOR THE SECOND GAME. 

Tai is making easy work of this. And Saina is helping her out. Saina is just making error after error and its just accumulating now.

That rally lasted 21 shots and it was all Tai. She makes Saina move all across the court and ends up with the point. 

Saina wins a point, much to the joy of the home crowd, but Tai finishes it off to go into the break with a four-point lead

Two back-to-back points for Tai. She is running away with this. Saina needs to sort her game out now. I MEAN NOW. Becuase this could become embarrassment very quickly.

Just as I say that, Saina comes up with a big down the line smash. But can't build on that and Tai retains her two point lead.

Tai hits one long before hitting another winner. Saina needs to step up here. She hasn't won a single point of her own yet.

Saina gets caught in two minds and ends up hitting a Tai drop into the net. Two point game now.

Tai has an 8-5 head-to-head against Saina and she has won the last six in a row. Big ask for Saina this. Obviously Tai has been chosen as the Trump in this game!!

This is a do or die game for the Smash Masters. Lose this and you are out, win and you have a straight shootout in the men's doubles.

NOW WE HAVE THE GAME OF DAY COMING UP. SAINA NEHWAL VS TAI TZU YING. 22 SUPERSERIES TITLES BETWEEN THEM. CAN'T WAIT FOR THIS TO START!!

AND THERE YOU GO! Prannoy seals the match as Srikanth hits one long. 10-MATCH UNBEATEN STREAK FOR PRANNOY. He has sent warning signs to the world ahead of the new season starts. 

Prannoy concedes two back-to-back points at the Match Point. Can Srikanth force the game to the decider? He has it in him for sure.

The match is a clear demonstration of Prannoy's 9-match unbeaten streak. Soon it is going to be 10-match. He is literally smashing Srikanth. NOTHING TO WRITE ABOUT HIM.

Srikanth is committing a lot of unforced errors on his forehand today. Precisely 9 so far. You can't do that. Prannoy with the point. 

Another brilliant smash in the match! A 349 KMPH Smash had Srikanth caught on his heels. 

Prannoy hits it wide as Srikanth wins a point.

Srikanth is clearly not at his best today. His lack of physical fitness is beginning to tell as Prannoy's down the line smash gives him a point as the Guntur lad remains hapless. 

Prannoy levels. Scratch that. He leads now. 6-5 IN FAVOUR OF Prannoy now. 

Drop shot by Prannoy gives him the third point in the match. But Srikanth is not leaving any stones unturned. This is the Srikanth we know - slow start, attacking progress.

Srikanth opens up a three-point lead in the second game. Prannoy secures his first point. But that doesn't affect Srikanth who gets another one.

Prannoy seals the game! What a performance by the Masters' star. He literally doesn't give Srikanth a chance in the game. A one-sided affair as the Masters' star remain one game away from winning his 10th consecutive tie in PBL.

Another point for Prannoy before the shuttle lands outside or does it? Srikanth challenges, but remains unsuccessful as Prannoy wins another point.

THIS IS RIDICULOUS. Srikanth hits a 320 kmph smash to tame Prannoy at his prey who seems to be running away with the game. Three point game now. 

Srikanth is slowly making a comeback into the game. But his failure to retieve the shuttle back into play costs him a point. 

What a smash by Srikanth.. The duo trades one point each before Prannoy takes one more to make it a five-point lead now...

Another point for Srikanth as Prannoy fails to understand his net play and plays straight one to the net to concede a point. 

Srikanth seems to have come to his own as the 20-shot rally ends in his facour. 

Srikanth is a slow starter but he has never been this slow. 8-2 lead for Prannoy.,..  At the mid-game break, Prannoy has momentum on his side.

Prannoy exactly starts from where he had left off in the last match. He is taking easy points at the moments as Srikanth is struggling in his movement today.

Prannoy racing away with the lead. 4-1 lead now. But Srikanth is known for his slow starts..

After Kashyap's incredible win - that gives Awadhe two points - now, Srikanth will take on HS Prannoy, who has been on a nine-match unbeaten streak in the league. Can Srikanth break the streak? We will find out in some minutes of time.

THIS HAS TO BE ONE OF THE BEST COMEBACKS IN THE PBL THUS FAR. THIS MIGHT EVEN BE BETTER THAN PRANNOY'S ONE AGAINST WANG IN THE NORTH EASTERN GAME!!

WHAT A WIN BY KASHYAP!!! HE WON FIVE POINT IN A ROW TO SECURE THE VICTORY!!!

Kashyap reduces the deficit to just three but Sourabh brings up match point thanks to a Kashyap error.

RALLY OF THE PBL SO FAR... Sourabh hits two stinging smashes but Kashyap, who has to dive on both times picks it up. But ends up gifting the point away.
