Harry Kane has advised Bayern Munich 19-year-old forward, Mathys Tel, to prioritize playing time as he considers offers from Manchester United and Arsenal. Tel, valued at £50m, rejected Tottenham bid and has struggled for minutes under Vincent Kompany, playing just eight Bundesliga games this season. Bayern sporting director confirmed Tel’s desire to leave before the transfer window closes, with United and Arsenal eager to strengthen their squads.

For the 19-year-old Bayern Munich forward Mathys Tel, the January transfer window has been filled with speculation. Initially set for a £50m move to Tottenham, Tel rejected the offer, opening the door for Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal to pursue him. Having played just eight Bundesliga matches this season, Tel is eager for more game time, prompting his decision to seek a transfer.

Tel recently expressed his desire to leave, despite initially opting to stay in December. England captain and Bayern striker Harry Kane praised Tel’s potential but advised that his next move should prioritize regular playing time. Kane, who scored twice in Bayern’s 4-3 win over Holstein Kiel, emphasized the importance of gaining experience at this stage of Tel’s career.

Meanwhile, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta remains keen on strengthening his attack before the transfer deadline. Arsenal’s attempts to sign Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins were unsuccessful, leaving Tel as a potential option. Manchester United, facing goal-scoring struggles, also view Tel as a valuable addition. With the transfer window closing soon, both clubs must act swiftly to secure the young French forward’s signature.
