Kolkata Knight Riders won a thrilling encounter against Lucknow Super Giants. Even though LSG reached close, the team finished on the losing side. After the match, Rishabh Pant opened up with a fan while giving him an autograph, as he expressed his raw emotions following the loss.
The IPL 2026 season is halfway done, and the most intense match we could ever see in this tournament was the game between Kolkata Knight Riders and Lucknow Super Giants. Rinku Singh helped KKR to post a competitive total, as he also smashed 26 runs off the last over. The target seemed somewhat achievable to the team.
But Lucknow Super Giants lost quick wickets which ultimately kept them out of the game. Shami smashed a six on the last ball, leading to a Super Over, where LSG only managed to post 1 run before losing both wickets. KKR went on to win this interesting clash in the Super Over, as their innings lasted for just a ball.

The emotions of Rishabh Pant showcased how bad he felt after his team lost the game, even after taking it way too close. Under his captaincy, his team has not been able to do wonders, and this brings down all the pressure to him.
