Political terms between India and Pakistan have always made headlines for all the bad reasons. But still cricket is the game which has admired by both countries and players from India and Pakistan played an important role to connect the hearts beyond the line and borders.
Recently, in an interview with Gaurav Kapur, Kohli was candidly asked about a bowler he’s been terrified to face, and without much hesitation, Kohli replied Shoaib Akhtar. He added that he’s never faced Shoaib though but he’s witnessed him bowl at Dambulla during the Asia Cup.
Akhtar, who maintained a warm relationship with the Indian players, thanks to his association with Star Sports, took to Twitter to comment on Kohli’s answer.
I was better off not bowling at all when was batting.Jokes apart,he's a gr8 batsman & bowling agnst him wud have been a gr8 contest.

After that, in a television show, Akhtar praised the Indian skipper and called him a great batsman.
“Virat Kohli is a great batsman and is a brilliant achiever,” said Akhtar. “I have come across a number of Indian players and had a very friendly relationship with Sourav (Ganguly) and Virender Sehwag so it’s a mutual admiration,” former Pakistan pacer said as quoted by Wisden India.
