Ruud van Nistelrooy was the interim manager of Manchester United, as their manager Ruben Amorim was not available for a few games. He led the team in four games and has now left the charge, with the team confirming the same after their previous game against Leicester City.
In his fourth game being the interim manager of the team, he helped Manchester to secure a 3-0 win against Leicester City. However, it was announced on Monday that Ruben Amorim is the permanent boss of the team, due to which fans bid a farewell to Ruud van Nistelrooy as the manager.
The club released a statement for the departure of Ruud van Nistelrooy, saying,“Ruud is, and always will be, a Manchester United legend. We are grateful for his contribution and the way in which he has approached his role throughout his time with the club. He will always be very welcome at Old Trafford.”
Manchester United will also be announcing the staff for Ruben Amorim in the next few days. Due to this reason, some of the team's staff, such as Rene Hake, Jelle ten Rouwelaar and Pieter Morel. Ruud van Nistelrooy was a great interim manager for the team, as he helped them to secure wins in three games, whereas the remaining one game ended up in a draw. The team’s captain Bruno Fernandes took the opportunity to shine in these four games.
