Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return to Manchester United as a head coach, if Ruben Amorim takes up the team's manager role. Teddy Sheringham says Ronaldo will follow David Beckham’s path.

Teddy Sheringham has said that Cristiano Ronaldo is looking forward to joining back the Manchester United team. However, Ronaldo is expected to follow the paths of David Beckham instead of Ruben Amorim.

Ever since his arrival at the Old Trafford, Cristiano Ronaldo had two spells, as the first came when he collected Ballon d'Or, Champions League, and Premier League honours. His second spell came out to be unexpected, when he was released as a free agent, which came after his aggressive interview with Piers Morgan.

It should be noted that despite being 39 years old, Ronaldo is still strong to play. He is a part of the Al-Nassr and Portugal, helping the teams in scoring goals. There are some speculations that he will be considering retirement soon in the upcoming few seasons but it is yet not clear what he'll do after hanging up the golden boots.

Ruben Amorim is expected to move to Manchester United as the manager of the team, under whom Ronaldo could be the team's coach. Talking about this, Teddy Sheringham said,“Cristiano Ronaldo would be very welcome back at Manchester United under Ruben Amorim, but he is onto bigger and better things. I think that Ronaldo will follow in the path of David Beckham in doing things away from coaching, higher profile things around the world. I'm sure he'd be very, very welcome in any capacity coming back to the club, but I doubt that he'll be a coach.”
