Barcelona forward Neymar left bloodied after trying nutmeg during Brazil's WC qualifier
Barcelona star Neymar was left with a bloody face after facing a reckless elbow from Yasmani Duk during Brazil's World Cup qualifier match against Bolivia on Thursday. Neymar left the field after the incident, but Brazil went on to thrash the visitors 5-0 to get their 3rd successive win under Tite.
A dazzling performance from the Brazilian team was marred by the facial injury of Neymar, who opened the scoring in the match in the 10th minute. The home side added three more goals before the half-time whistle was blown as Philippe Coutinho, Filipe Luis, and Gabriel Jesus got on the score-sheet. Roberto Firmino became the second Liverpool player to score in the match after coming on as a substitute in the 75th minute.
However, this convincing win was slightly spoilt by the injury to Neymar. The Barcelona star attempted a nutmeg on Bolivian striker Yasmani Duk late on in the match, and the New York Cosmos player elbowed him in his head. It left Neymar in a bloody mess, and he was taken off the pitch.
