I-League 2015/16: Duffy's brace helps Salgaocar register first win of season; Sporting defeat Mumbai
A brace from Daryl Duffy in the second half and Haokip’s goal in the 39th minute was enough to help Salgaocar to their first win of the season as they beat newcomers DSK Shivajians 3-2 at Pune. In the other match of the day, Odafa's brace helped Sporting Clube de Goa defeat Mumbai FC 3-2 at home.

It was 2-0 in the first minute of the second half with the provider of the first goal, Duffy, tapping the ball from close range. Haokip turned provider this time by sending a beautiful cross into the box for his partner to cash in. Duffy finished off the match in the 70th minute by adding another to his kitty with Jakichand Singh providing the ball for his second. DSK forward Dipanda scored a brace in the last fifteen minutes to mount a comeback from the home side. But it proved to be too late as Salgaocar held their nerves in the final few minutes to register their first win of the season.
