Many cricketers around the world have their distinctive batting styles, and Steve Smith tops the chart. In the second Test between Pakistan and England in Multan, Pakistan’s debutant Kamran Ghulam mirrored Smith's approach, which drew smiles and laughter from England captain Ben Stokes.

‌Pakistan chose to bat after winning the toss, but early wickets left them struggling at 19/3, with Jack Leach dismissing Abdullah Shafique and Shaan Masood. Debutant Kamran Ghulam and Saim Ayub stabilized the innings, forming a 65-run partnership to reach 79/2 by lunch. After the break, Ayub scored a 97-ball half-century, and Ghulam also reached his fifty, pushing the score to 120/2 in 44 overs with a 100-run stand. In the midst of it all, a humorous moment unfolded when Kamran Ghulam attempted to mimic Steve Smith, leaving Ben Stokes both amused and bewildered.

On the third delivery of the 53rd over, Stokes bowled a length delivery outside the off stump to Ghulam. The debutant stepped out of his crease to defend it, successfully blocking the ball. Afterwards, Ghulam pointed his bat at Stokes and tried to gesticulate something. The two exchanged a few words, with Stokes continuing to grin as Ghulam tried to convey something. Ghulam's batting technique resembled that of Steve Smith, who often does the same after defending a delivery. The incident quickly caught the attention of social media, and the Twitterverse shared a good laugh over it.
