SA vs SL | Twitter reacts to shellshocked Verreynne as Rabada’s no-ball offers lifeline to Nissanka
Minute margins can play a good part in dictating the outcome of a match. It’s not a surprise anymore with many decisions being reversed due to the bowler’s slight error - as was the case with Kagiso Rabada whose overstepping denied a spectacular catch from Kyle Verreynne to save Pathum Nissanka.
On the fifth ball of the ninth over, Rabada bowled a short-pitch delivery into the right-hander who incurred a top-edge on an intended pull. As the ball skewed off high, Verreynne switched to his right and made good ground to complete a terrific reverse cup grab. Amidst the Proteas celebration, the onfield umpire expressed his desire for a TV umpire intervention. Joel Wilson had a close look at it and figured out that there was some part of the boot behind the crease from the bowler. Eventually, it was confirmed that Rabada had overstepped causing the original decision to get overturned, earning a lifeline to Nissanka. Seeing the celebration cave into a tragedy in no time, Verreynne and the Twitterverse were stunned.
What a blunder here!!

South Africa's Kagiso Rabada starts the 3rd session of Day 3 with a strong field setup, 3 slips and a gully in place, as Sri Lanka begins their chase with Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne at the crease, needing 511 runs to win.
Really?
Harsha I think Pathum Nissanka is also highly talented but poor guy needs some good wickets in SL with some bounce not dusty bowls !
