However, things continued to worry the visitors when Daryl Mitchell lost his temper when Tushar Deshpande’s lacklustre work gifted a six to the Gujarat Titans.

On the 14th over's third ball, the Kiwi star delivered a length ball to Gill who aimed to launch it over long-off for a six. Despite striking it forcefully, the Gujarat skipper's timing faltered, propelling the white rock toward long-off fielder Tushar Deshpande. Simultaneously, the Mumbai bowler misjudged the ball's path allowing it to slip past him, grazing Deshpande's hand and sailing over for a six. Following Deshpande's blunder, Mitchell appeared fumed and unable to fathom his teammate's poor fielding.
