SA vs NEP | Twitter reacts to David Miller's unexpected return as umpire's call denies premature walk-off
Fortune often weaves its subtle threads into the fabric of cricket, turning the tide in unexpected ways. South Africa’s Aiden Markram experienced such a twist of fate in the match against Nepal at St. Vincent as his premature return to the pavilion was ceased by an umpire’s call review.
On the fourth ball of the 14th over, Khushal Bhurtel delivered a perfect googly to Miller, very full on the leg and middle stump. Miller shuffled across and got down on one knee for the sweep, but the ball struck his pad. Bhurtel immediately appealed, but on-field umpire Joel Wilson was uninterested and ruled not out.
After a brief conversation, skipper Rohit Paudel opted for a DRS review. The ultra edge showed no bat involved, and the ball tracker indicated the ball was pitching in line and clipping the bails of the off-stump. Seeing the replay, Miller began his walk back to the pavilion. However, the TV umpire upheld the on-field umpire's original decision of not out . Realizing this after a moment, Miller returned to the crease, his luck turning in his favor, sending the Twitterverse into a frenzy.
How about that bounce?

Unreal DRS!
DRS saved Miller but DSA got time. Sandeep bowling tight from one end and other getting reward of it. Nice bowling change going on and Captain is doing fantastic job today.

Looked like that!
Umpire definitely gave that not out because he thought it was pitching outside leg. So unlucky for Nepal and moreover it was so surprising to see bounce in the DRS ball. It was never going that high. Even Miller walked off!!!

No idea on it!
What on earth was that drs? What was that bounce?

Great work for sure!
Great work from Nepal to restrict South Africa to 115, great bowling effort from Kushal Bhrutal after dropping Hendricks to take 4fer and also to Dipendra Singh Airee for a 3fer.
