Northern Supercharges triumphed over Southern Brave by seven wickets in Leeds. The Brave's middle order proved to be rocky but Kieron Pollard’s blazing cameo in the end took them to 146/8, whereas the Superchargers rode on the back of Nicholas Pooran’s 62 off 34 to seal their victory.

‌After a dominant performance in their opening match, Southern Brave's captain James Vince won the toss and chose to bat first. Vince and his opening partner Alex Davies got the team off to a steady start, reaching 24/0 in the first five sets. However, Callum Parkinson soon provided a crucial breakthrough by dismissing the in-form Vince on the 19th delivery, curbing the Braves' momentum. Despite the early setback, Davies, alongside Leus du Plooy, continued to push the score along, taking it to 43/1 after 30 deliveries. Mitchell Santner then added to the Braves' troubles by dismissing Davies, who had scored a quick 28 off 20 balls. The situation worsened for the Braves as they lost James Coles, Rehan Ahmed, and Laurie Evans in rapid succession to leave the team struggling at 91/6 after 65 deliveries. Thereafter, Kieron Pollard and Chris Jordan forged a 32-run partnership and steadied the innings at 123/6 by the 90th delivery. Ultimately, Pollard's impactful knock of 37 off 22 balls helped the Southern Braves post a competitive total of 146/8.

In response, the Northern Superchargers' openers Graham Clark and Matthew Short began cautiously, reaching 20/0 in the first 10 deliveries. The breakthrough for Southern Brave came from Jofra Archer who dismissed Short on the 15th delivery to break the opening partnership. However, Nicholas Pooran immediately made his presence felt by hitting a six off his first ball and accelerating the scoring alongside Clark. The pair quickly took control with, pushing the score to 46/1 after 25 deliveries. As the duo looked determined to steer the team to victory, Chris Jordan provided a crucial breakthrough by dismissing Clark on the 46th delivery, which brought captain Harry Brook to the crease. Pooran continued his aggressive innings and reached his half-century in just 26 deliveries. With the Superchargers needing 40 runs from 40 deliveries, Pooran maintained a strike rate of 190, keeping the team well ahead of the required rate. However, Akeal Hosein struck a timely blow for the Braves, dismissing Pooran on the 73rd delivery after a knock of 62 off 34 balls. With the game well within reach though, Brook shifted gears and led the Superchargers to a comfortable seven-wicket victory with 15 balls to spare. .
