Repeated attempts often lead to desired results but a successful outcome on the first trial itself might lead to moments of utter jubilation. Similarly, Tom Taylor of Worcestershire Rapids produced a non-playable delivery to kick off the defense against Somerset in the Metro One Day Bank encounter.

In the latest encounter of the Premier One Day domestic condition of England, Somerset elected to field first against the Rapids. Amidst numerous twenty-thirties, Taylor’s 65-ball 73 stood apart in the batting scorecard as Rapids managed 263 runs in the first innings. Eyeing for a perfect defense in the second innings, Taylor spearheaded with the ball as well, producing an absolute peach to leave the opening batter trudging back to the hut.

With a couple of slips in place for early lateral movement, Taylor delivered the perfect result that his team captain would be hoping for. The pacer came over the wicket and dished a good length delivery outside the stumps that swung in sharply to knock the stumps as the batter looked to shoulder arm. George Thomas, the batsman was left stunned by a boomerang-like movement of the ball as it swerved sharply inward from the sixth stump line. As the on-air commentator summoned, the perfect seam position leading to an accurate execution helped the video surface through the internet thick and fast.
