Concentration is of utmost importance when fielding at the ropes, as even a small mistake can have significant consequences. Such was the case in the game between Trent Rockets and London Spirit, when Shimron Hetmyer's lack of focus while judging a catch led to an unnecessary six.

‌Aiming for a playoff spot, Trent Rockets skipper Lewis Gregory won the toss and opted to bat first. The decision didn't work well initially, as London pacer Richard Gleeson scalped Adam Lyth on the fourth delivery. However, Alex Hales and Tom Banton carried the Trent batting taking the scorecard to 39/1 in six sets. But a funny moment occurred thereafter when Shimron Hetmyer lost his balance and misjudged a catch, which later on went for a six.

On the 34th delivery, Matthew Critchley dished a flatter delivery outside the off stump to Hales. The English opener aimed the line well and got low, slog-sweeping the white rock bang-on towards deep mid-wicket. Meanwhile, Hetmyer was stationed at the position and saw the ball coming. But as the white rock inched closer, the Caribbean star made a mess and lost sight of the ball. The ball crossed the ropes for a maximum as the London contingent couldn't believe what had just happened. After some time, Hetmyer gesticulated that he lost his balance and, as a result, took his eyes off the ball. Seeing this unfold, the Twitterverse couldn't hold their laughter and took to social media to talk about it.

Wait what???

Hales doing his job here!

Absolute beauty!

Yeah!
