The introduction of stump mics in sports has increased the crowd's amusement to the next level. Also, it's never a dull moment when Rohit Sharma is around the gadget as he was caught speaking Sinhalese behind the stumps, leaving Rishab Pant astonished in the third ODI between Sri Lanka and India.

Winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Sri Lanka got off to an impressive start, courtesy of Pathum Nissanka and Avishka Fernando’s 89-run opening partnership. The pair almost milked their way to the 20th over before Axar Patel got the breakthrough by inducing a top-edge after the drinks break. Notably. It was reported that Rohit learned a few Sinhalese phrases from the locals during the tour. However, applying it in real-time during a live match left the Twitterverse in splits.
