The sound of the ball sailing over the boundary rope after a batsman's six is music to the ears of cricket enthusiasts. Delhi Capitals' captain Rishabh Pant replicated a similar feat against Kolkata Knight Riders' Venkatesh Iyer by displaying shades of his vintage form with a massive no-look six.

‌Chasing 273 runs, the home team faced a rocky beginning as their openers, Prithvi Shaw and David Warner took to the crease. Shaw's bat failed to ignite this time, as he departed in the second over. The tension mounted further as Mitchell Marsh and Warner fell without adding any runs, both victims to their compatriot Mitchell Starc. Adding to the dismay, Delhi's substitute Abhishek Porel returned to the pavilion without scoring, leaving the hosts in a dire situation at 51/4 by the end of the powerplay. Nevertheless, the Delhi contingent found a semblance of stability when Tristan Stubbs and captain Rishabh Pant forged a steady partnership, contributing 54 runs and guiding their team to 87/4 after 10 overs. The atmosphere in Visakhapatnam brimmed with anticipation as Pant, in a display of vintage brilliance, launched an assault on KKR's Venkatesh Iyer, accumulating 28 runs in the 12th over, including a remarkable no-look six.

On the fourth ball of the 12th,  Venkatesh delivered a length ball targeting the leg stump, hoping to tempt the DC batter to go for a big hit. However, Pant seized the opportunity presented by the subpar delivery, elegantly crouching and flicking the ball over short fine leg for a maximum. Displaying a blend of authority and finesse, Pant refrained from glancing back at the impressive shot he executed, marking a notable comeback in this season's play.

Pant's daring six garnered praise across the Twitterverse, sparking discussions on social media platforms.
