Twitter reacts as Kane Williamson didn't walk despite edging the ball to Quinton De Kock
It was a big pressure game for the Proteas and the pressure got clearly reflected on their game. New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson was lucky to not lose his wicket as South Africa didn't review an edge behind. Fans on Twitter lashed out on Williamson for not walking off despite getting a nick.
Brief scores: South Africa 241/6 in 49 overs (Rassie van der Dussen 67*, Hashim Amla 55; Lockie Ferguson 3/59, Colin de Grandhomme 1/33) lost to New Zealand 245/6 in 49.3 overs (Kane Williamson 106*, Colin de Grandhomme 60; Chris Morris 3/49, Kagiso Rabada 1/42) by four wickets.
De Kock should have appealed for that!
Another really stupid way to waste your chance of qualification at the World Cup, South Africa.

But De Kock didn't react!
Kane Williamson did react when he nicked the ball but he didn't walk off. It's world cup and pressure is on.

South Africa is again choking!!
Kane Williamson should have walked off. As he holds honesty and sportsman spirit at highest standard!!
Honestly his smile clearly indicated he nicked it!
Just South Africa things!
SA choking. Yet again...

Virat doesn't even need to get a nick!

— LacaJet (@ThatGuyJSR)
Now they don't appeal for a clear caught behind. Harakiri...
— Saurav Jha (@iamsauravjha)
No honesty!
No! just can't get a break. Tahir finds the edge of Williamson's bat but only he appeals. It's official, the cricket gods hate .

Oh, and from his reaction Kane knew he hit it. Pity honesty has no place in professional sport.
Poor sportsmanship!
Williamson edges but he didn't walk poor poor sportsmanship..

Only 90s kids will understand!
A bad South Africa team performance in the field. Something a 90s kid never saw.
