Women's 3m Springboard Preliminary

Welcome back to diving action from Paris 2024.

A field of 28 is in action right now in the Women's 3m Springboard Preliminary. They will get five dives each, with the top 18 at the end of the event set to make their way to the final medal event. As always, the Chinese are the favourite to sweep the tournament.

06 Aug, 07:43

Women's 10m Platform Final

The only question today was whether Hongchan Quan break the wold record she set as a 14-year-old -- an unfathomable 466.20.

Unfortunately, the Chinese got nowhere near the mark. At one stage she even stood the risk of being upset by her compatriot Chen. But despite being far from her best, the now 17-year-old Quan has still taken the Gold and the world remains her oyster.

A salute to the sheer domination of the Chinese women and on that note, we sign off!
