Real Kashmir FC Keeps I-League Title Hopes Alive After 2-1 Victory

Real Kashmir FC secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Aizawl FC in the I-League 2024–25, moving to 32 points from 18 matches, just two points behind leaders Churchill Brothers and Inter Kashi. Goals from Karim Samb and Paulo Cezar ensured their fifth consecutive home win, keeping them in contention for the title with four games remaining.

In the I-League 2024–25, Real Kashmir FC edged closer to the top of the table with a 2-1 victory over Aizawl FC, marking their fifth consecutive home win. With 32 points from 18 matches, they are now just two points behind joint leaders Churchill Brothers and Inter Kashi, setting up a tight title race. Aizawl FC, however, remained in 11th place with 16 points, still battling relegation. Paulo Cezar’s late winner secured all three points for Real Kashmir after an earlier equalizer from Lalrinzuala, who is now I-League’s top Indian scorer.

Meanwhile, Gokulam Kerala FC dominated Rajasthan United with a 3-0 win, led by Thabiso Brown’s brace. The victory placed them fourth in the standings with 28 points, six behind the leaders. Rajasthan United, despite an earlier 10-match unbeaten streak, dropped to eighth place with 24 points.

In the Indian Women’s League (IWL) 2024–25, East Bengal continued their dominance with an Elshaddai Acheampong hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Odisha FC, maintaining their lead with 18 points from seven matches. Gokulam Kerala, staying undefeated, secured their fifth straight win, keeping the pressure on East Bengal with 17 points.
