Bayern Munich secured a 3-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava in the Champions League. Thomas Müller opened the scoring early, followed by a Harry Kane header in the second half. Kingsley Coman added a third before Bratislava pulled one back late. Despite the win, Bayern must play a two-legged playoff against Manchester City or Celtic to advance.

In the final match of the Champions League group phase, Bayern Munich secured a 3-1 victory over Slovan Bratislava. Bayern dominated the game with a highly attacking lineup, including key players like Kane, Müller, and Sane. The match saw a fast start, with Müller scoring early in the 10th minute off a brilliant Kimmich cross.

Despite several missed chances, including an effort from Tel, Bayern's lead remained slim into the second half. In the 56th minute, Kane doubled the lead with a close-range header. Six minutes before full-time, Coman scored a rebound goal, making it 3-0. Although Slovan Bratislava pulled one back late, it was too little, too late. Bayern Munich’s win, however, wasn’t enough to avoid the play-off round.

Due to other results, they finished second in their group and will now face a two-legged tie against either Manchester City or Celtic in February. This match concluded the inaugural Champions League 'league phase' system. Despite the victory, Bayern will now face a tough challenge in the play-offs.
