In the match between Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim, the Bundesliga leaders delivered a dominant 5-0 performance to cement their four-point lead at the top of the table. Bayern took control early, scoring three goals in just 19 minutes of the first half. Leroy Sane opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a clinical finish assisted by Thomas Muller. Raphael Guerreiro doubled the lead five minutes later after a one-two with Harry Kane, and Kane, the league’s top scorer, added a third from the penalty spot in the 26th minute—his 16th goal of the season and 12th successful penalty in his Bundesliga career.

Sane struck again three minutes into the second half, making it 4-0, while substitute Serge Gnabry completed the rout in the 66th minute. Hoffenheim offered little resistance, managing no shots on target until the 70th minute when Bayern keeper Manuel Neuer made a spectacular save to deny Finn Becker.

With this victory, Bayern moved to 42 points, maintaining a comfortable margin over second-placed Bayer Leverkusen, who won 1-0 against Mainz. Hoffenheim, struggling in 16th place, is winless in six games and faces a tough battle to avoid relegation. Bayern’s next league match is against Wolfsburg, followed by a Champions League trip to Feyenoord.
