Chennaiyin FC marked their comeback in the Indian Super League during the match against Jamshedpur FC. This came out to be one of the best wins for the team as they won the game by 5-1 against them, improving their standings in the tournament.

Pratik Chaudhari started off the game by scoring the first goal in the form of an own goal. The defender of Jamshedpur FC made an unfortunate mistake which gave an upper hand to Chennaiyin FC at the start of the game.

This was followed by the goal scored by Irfan Yadwad, which came at the 22 minutes of the game. Just when Jamshedpur FC tried to make a comeback, their opponents scored another goal, which came from Connor Shields. The midfielder took just 2 minutes more from the previous goal to score another one.

By the half-time, Chennaiyin FC had an impressive lead of 0-3 against Jamshedpur FC. Wilmar Jordàn Gill, the striker of the team, scored a goal within the first ten minutes after the break. This was also followed by some quick substitutions from both teams to bring some changes in their lineups.

Towards the end of the game, Lukas Pivetta Brambilla scored the fifth goal for Chennaiyin FC in the 71st minute of the game. It was also the last goal for the team in this game, as Javi Hernàndez scored a penalty goal for Jamshedpur FC to give the team a goal.
