Coventry City's Doug King Reflects on Frank Lampard’s Tenure Length and Stability

Doug King talks about the contract tenure of Coventry City's new head coach, Frank Lampard, which is just 2.5 years. This comes after their previous head coach Mark Robins was sacked from the team, making them look for a long-term replacement.

Doug King recently talked about the contract tenure of Frank Lampard, as the new head coach of the team. He said that there should be no more discussions on this topic after it was revealed that Lampard joined the team for a two and a half years contract.

After Mark Robins was sacked from the team, the team's owner revealed that they will be looking forward to the long-term replacements for the same. Robins and Adi Viveash were also given four years to be the head coach of the team when Doug King first became the team's owner.

Talking about the contract tenure of Frank Lampard, he said,“Well, most managers don’t last that long do they! Two and a half years is a good stint, right? I mean, obviously contracts can be extended at any point, can’t they? You start it off and it’s a logical period to come in half a season in and then have a full pre-season to get your teeth into it.”

He further talked about his contract, saying that he didn't read the contract tenure and other information on the same. Doug King also said that the tenure can be extended at any time when both parties agree to do so.
