Dubbed as a generational talent and even compared to Italy legend Andrea Pirlo, Sandro Tonali’s rise to the Serie A has been brilliant to watch. The defensive midfielder has been by far one of Brescia’s best players by quite a margin and that has seen Europe’s biggest sides send scouts to watch him. Over the last few years Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester City, and even Inter Milan have watched the Italian starlet play.
The Mirror, however, has reported that Manchester United are the latest side to send their scouts and are now considering a move for the midfielder. The Red Devils are looking for the young stars and players they can transform into superstars and the Mirror added that they believe Tonali fits that bill. The report went on to add that the Red Devils scouted the midfielder again last week and his performances have more than convinced the club to splurge and bring him to Old Trafford.
However, despite the fact that the Red Devils have also linked with a move for Declan Rice, Sean Longstaff and Boubakary Soumare, the Sun has revealed that Tonali has shot to the top of their shortlist. That does cause a few problems for Brescia but with Juventus, Manchester City, Chelsea, PSG, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan all keen on a move, Manchester United have fierce competition.
