Reports | Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori on the verge of getting new deals

Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori have shined for Chelsea ever since they have been drafted in the starting line up by manager Frank Lampard. Their eye-catching contributions have been witnessed and Evening Standard reports that the Chelsea hierarchy and they are ready to offer these stars a new deal. Fikayo Tomori has two years left on his contract who recently made his Champions League debut against LOSC Lille which Chelsea won 2-1.

Talks of a new and improved contract are in the initial stages for Tomori but he is set to pocket a huge gain in salary. Lampard has been full of praise for the 21-year-old defender and hails him one of the most hardworking players.

“Hearing that the manager has confidence and faith in me is good and only makes me play better. He’s been helping me a lot. Obviously, last year at Derby, he helped me a lot and this year he’s told me how I can fit into the team and what I need to do to improve. I’ve just tried to do that,” said Tomori reports the Standard.

Meanwhile, Tammy Abraham’s current contract runs until 2022 and the Stamford Bridge club are ready to offer him a raise in his salary fro his recent exploits in front of the goal. He has scored for Chelsea 7 times in the Premier League and sits as the second joint top scorer. He currently earns £50,000-a-week but the new deal could see him earn double of that.

Chelsea next face Southampton away and both the players are expected to start the game as Chelsea will look to better its current position in the table.
