Real Madrid offer PSG a swap deal for Neymar

Spanish giants Real Madrid are ready to offer James Rodriguez and £111million to Paris Saint-Germain, in exchange for Brazilian superstar Neymar. According to news outlet Le 10 Sport, the Ligue 1 champions are not pleased and have turned down the offer of Rodriguez and £111m.

PSG have also asked for the former Chelsea goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, to be included in the swap deal alongside James Rodriguez and £111million, Le 10 Sport added. Madrid’s number 2 goalkeeper, Keylor Navas was also mentioned in the series of ongoing talks between the two clubs. On the other hand, PSG have also shown interest in Spanish playmaker Isco, but the Los Blancos are reluctant to let the 27 year old leave the club.

Real Madrid are firm on their valuation of Neymar, and are not willing to play soft as negotiations continue. Barcelona appeared to be the frontrunner for their former star, but the talks have now stalled. After a summer of heavy spending, Barcelona will have to offload Philippe Coutinho or Ousmane Dembele for any move to materialise.

This has seen the Los Blancos move quickly to emerge victorious in the race for Neymar. The Brazilian has already hinted at an exit from the Parc de Princes this summer reports Marca, openly praising his experiences in Spain at a press conference.

As of now, Financial Fair Play rules and difficult negotiations are dragging for both the Spanish giants. However, it does appear that Real Madrid are now in pole position to sign the world’s costliest player.
