Napoli have entered the race to sign out of favour Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku. Alongside Juventus and Inter Milan, the Partenopei have also made their wishes known. Reports suggest that Napoli are willing to sign the Belgian hitman, in case Arkadiusz Milik decides to leave the club.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli President De Laurentiis is ready to offer €70 million release clause of Lukaku, payable in four years. However, United have insisted time and again that they will not lower down their €83 million valuation of the 26-year-old. Napoli have also offered United a cash plus Arkadiusz Milik deal in exchange.

Napoli are set to lose their Polish striker, Arkadiusz Milik, if he decides not to sign a contract extension. The Serie A club are looking to sell Polish hitman instead of losing him for free in two years. Calciomercato has reported that Napoli's sporting director, Cristiano Giuntoli met with the company that manages Lukaku and told them that they are willing to pay the Belgian striker €10 million a year in wages.

The report also adds that the Partonepi are willing to pay Manchester United a fee of somewhere around €70 million as mentioned above. Lukaku, Belgium’s all time top scorer, has made it quite sure that he will be leaving Manchester United this season for Italy. Juventus are quite close to a move for him, and are looking to offload Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic, as part of a swap deal. But, negotiations have stalled and Napoli boss Carlo Ancellotti is trying to make the best of the situation.
