No fight in the tunnel with Messi, says Sergio Aguero

Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, on Tuesday, reported that Barcelona's Lionel Messi had a heated confrontation with an unnamed Manchester City player in the tunnel after the game ended in a 3-1 defeat for Barcelona at the Etihad Stadium.

Messi is alleged to have shouted, "stupid, come here and show your face, don't hide," at the City player. But, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero has denied any such incident involving his international team mate.

"[I saw] nothing. I thought Messi said something to me but he didn't, and then we [the other players] talked about other stuff,” Aguero told the reporters after the match.

"[It was] nothing serious. I heard something but I don't know what happened. When someone loses you have to respect them. Leo wasn't in the mood to talk and I respect that."

"I saw him there, he was feeling bad. I know him well enough to know when he's bad, when he's good. But when you lose, nobody's good," Aguero said.

Aguero, who was benched in City's 4-0 defeat at the Camp Nou, put in a brilliant shift in Tuesday's match and registered an assist for Ilkay Gundogan's third goal. But, the Argentine said that he respects the coach's decision to sideline him.

"I'm never angry. I respect every manager's decision. said it was a tactical thing and I obviously respect that. When I went onto the pitch I tried to give my best and then train hard to be ready for the next game. But no one was in a bad mood,” he explained.
