The ODI series between New Zealand and Bangladesh has come to an end, and fans thought Mustafizur Rahman would finally be ready for the Pakistan Super League. He has already missed out on a number of games for his team Lahore Qalandars, but his comeback to the team has now been affected.
In the third ODI, Rahman was spotted unwell, as some scans were also conducted on him after the game. It has been concluded that he remains unfit to participate in the Pakistan Super League, as the BCB has advised him to go through rehabilitation. Moreover, he has also been denied the NOC (No Objection Certificate) by the board.
Now Rahman won't be able to participate in the Pakistan Super League, adding another league in the list of the tournaments he has missed. He was earlier ruled out of the Indian Premier League, as the BCCI instructed the Kolkata Knight Riders to remove him from the squad. And now, he will be missing out on the PSL due to rehabilitation.
Overall, it can be said that Mustafizur Rahman is not having a good time when it comes to the T20 leagues right now. He went on to miss the IPL, his team didn't play in the T20 World Cup, and now he won't be playing in the Pakistan Super League too. On the other hand, the Bangladesh Cricket Board took a wise decision, as they want Rahman to remain fit, and not apply much work pressure on him.
