There is a famous saying in cricket that form is temporary but class is permanent. Indian Test captain Rohit Sharma justified the saying with his batting in the Ranji Trophy clash between Mumbai and Jammu & Kashmir after clobbering aesthetic-looking sixes, one of which was a trademark pull.

With 86 runs behind in the morning session of the second day, openers Rohit and Yashasvi Jaiswal opted for an aggressive approach in their second innings. The spotlight was on the off-form Indian captain who was struggling with form, after an underwhelming series down under. However, he turned the tide with some glorious strokes that uplifted the crowd’s morale at the BKC Stadium, in Mumbai.

Rohit was seen executing a lovely lofted drive over the bowler‘s head on a fuller delivery. The timing was so sweet that the red rock swirled straight into the Sharad Power Stand. Right after, he pulled a short of a length delivery outside the stumps over the deep square leg region for a six. Although he got out for 28, the superlative strokes including a six, four, and four on back-to-back deliveries left the Twitterverse abuzz.

Wow!

That's so good!

Great shot!

Really?

He has it in his pocket!

Great shot it was!

Hahaha!

Yupe!

Clean!
