IND-A vs PAK-A | Twitter explodes as Abhishek Sharma and Sufiyan Muqeem ignite the field with heated showdown

The heated exchange between Aamir Sohail and Venkatesh Prasad is a classic reminder of the intense rivalry in India-Pakistan matches. A similar incident occurred in the India-A vs Pakistan-A clash at the T20 Emerging Asia Cup where Abhishek Sharma and Sufiyan Muqeem got into a verbal exchange.

‌India-A got off to a solid start with openers Abhishek Sharma and Prabhsimran Singh playing aggressively from the beginning. Both batsmen, coming off a successful IPL season, appeared confident and guided India to 68/0 by the end of the powerplay. They looked comfortable while Pakistan struggled to break their partnership. The situation shifted when Muqeem dismissed Sharma in what became a controversial moment.

Muqeem bowled a fuller delivery outside off stump on the first ball of the seventh over. The left-hander advanced down the pitch and swung his bat, but mistimed it, producing a leading edge that flew towards point. Positioned at point, Qasim Akram backpedalled and slid to his left to complete a remarkable catch. As Sharma began walking back to the pavilion, Muqeem said something and gestured towards the pavilion. The Sunrisers Hyderabad star noticed this and lost his cool, responding with heated words. Prabhsimran stepped in to calm Sharma down, while social media quickly reacted to the India-Pakistan clash.
