It’s important to be grounded even if one reaches the crest of one’s career. Indian Test and ODI captain Rohit Sharma personifies the term ‘humble’ due to his generous nature and a recent act to surprise a birthday girl on the streets of Mumbai being the highlight of his latest trends.

Having whitewashed Bangladesh 2-0 in the recent red-ball series, Rohit was seen taking a break before the action unfolds against New Zealand on October 16. The 37-year-old was spotted with his wife Ritika Sajdeh at the NBA Abu Dhabi encounter between the Boston Celtics and the Denver Nuggets. He was also joined by renowned Spanish goalkeeper and a World Cup winner Iker Casillas. Since his return, the Indian skipper was next seen in the streets of Mumbai where a generous gesture left the crowd warm. 

A viral clip from the streets of Mumbai has been circulating since the last few hours with Rohit driving a blue Lamborghini. With the paparazzi and crowd trying to surround him, the Mumbaikar stopped the car after hearing that a girl from the mass had her birthday. As she approached near the car, the ‘Hitman’ shook hands and wished her a happy birthday that left the girl blushed in astonishment. Such gestures from global stars like Rohit tend to win heart of the audience and it was no different in this case, leaving the Twitterverse abuzz.
