Victory, jubilant crowds, and grand celebrations are linked with Indian cricket and its glorious triumphs. Such was the vibrant spectacle on the streets of Mumbai as the Indian team prepared for a victory parade following their splendid triumph in the ICC World T20 final against South Africa.

‌A sea of blue flooded the streets of Mumbai as they prepared to welcome the Indian team following their victory in Barbados. The Men in Blue landed at Delhi airport around 6 AM this morning and made their way to visit Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After this visit, the squad headed to Mumbai, where they were set for a grand victory parade from the iconic Marine Drive to the Wankhede Stadium.

The anticipation for the victory parade had already captivated Mumbaikars well before the Indian team boarded their flight to Mumbai. Large crowds gathered at various railway stations in Mumbai to make their way to Marine Drive. Despite the heavy police deployment to manage the throngs, the enthusiasm remained persistent. Twitter was abuzz with visuals of the massive crowds converging on Marine Drive and the Wankhede Stadium, all eagerly awaiting to celebrate the Rohit Sharma-led side.
