SRH chose to bowl first after winning the toss and KKR posted a total of 175/8. Andre Russell and Nitish Rana played crucial knocks for the team. In response, Abhishek Sharma was dismissed in the second over of the innings. SRH got into deep trouble when they lost Kane Williamson and he was seen getting furious with himself.
Russell was bowling the sixth over of the innings and he bowled a shortish delivery on the second ball of the over. The ball kept slightly low and Williamson tried to pull it. However, the batter missed the shot and under-edged it onto the stumps. Williamson was seen getting angry at himself and expressed his disappointment.
