Virat Kohli has decided to step down as India’s T20I captain after the upcoming T20 World Cup 2021 in the UAE and Oman, in bid to focus more on the role in the game’s longer versions. Kohli, the leading-run scorer in the format, has led India in 45 T20Is so far, of which the team won 27 and lost 14.
