After an unsuccessful World Cup campaign and after conceding a T20I series whitewash, even though Sri Lanka didn't field their main team against the No.1 ranked T20I team, Sarfraz Ahmed was removed as the captain of the T20I and Test team. This decision received a mixed reaction from the Twitterati.

The PCB apologies for this post and accepts the timing of it was wrong. This was a pre-planned post as part of the one-year to go promotional campaign. The timing of this post clashed with the captaincy announcement for which the PCB offers its regrets.

Sarfraz's individual performance was zero, not a single match-winning performance except champion trophy win against SL. Now, PCB making mistake by choosing Babar as a replacement in ODI captaincy. He's not yet ready and surely will affect his batting.
