Twitter trolls Sri Lanka as middle order collapses after a good start against Australia

It was a day to forget for Sri Lanka as they started off well with both their openers, Dimuth Karunaratne (97) and Kusal Perera (52) giving them a good start but the middle order collapsed quickly to give Australia a win. The Twitterati quickly started trolling the Lankans after their loss.

Brief Scores: Australia 334/7 in 50 overs (Aaron Finch 153, Steve Smith 73; Dhananjaya de Silva 2-40, Isuru Udana 2-57) beat Sri Lanka 247/9 in 45.4 over (Dimuth Karunaratne 97, Kusal Perera 52; Mitchell Starc 4-55, Kane Richardson 3-47) by 87 runs

It was painful indeed!

Carrying out their duties as planned!

I know how you feel!

Maybe teams like Ireland can come up instead of them!

And the takeaway from this match is...

Sri Lankan fans right now!

Coming to think of it...

How to tell a good team and an average team apart?

Sri Lankans legends will be ashamed at this performance!

Always!

Is this some new World Cup record?

Pretty sure someone in Sri Lanka is thinking about this right now!
