Najibullah failed to get the bat past the crease on the non-striker so even though he ran to get 2 runs, he got only 1. This was all due to the sharp eyes of Aleem Dar’s sharp eyes! 

The Bristol Reception for David Warner! 

The English crowd has always been hostile towards Aussies due to the fierce rivalry between both the teams. On top of that, David Warner was involved in the sandpaper gate which added more fuel to the fire. As a result of this when the announcer mentioned his name, the crowd started booing. But it was David Warner who had the last laugh as he guided his team to a comfortable win over Afghanistan! 

And then this happened! 

Even though Afghanistan lost the match to the mighty Aussies, they did not crumble under pressure when they started losing wickets. They steadied the ship and got themselves to a decent total of 208, which none of Pakistan or Sri Lanka could get to. It’s ok Afghanistan, even though you lost the match, you can be proud of your performance today!
