Indian coach, Ravi Shastri interviewed the heroes from the victory against Pakistan - Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma, as the latter spoke about Dhawan’s antics on the pitch while batting. Dhawan revealed that it was a proud moment for him to score a century against arch-rivals, Pakistan.

India ran off to a stunning nine-wicket win against arch-rivals, Pakistan, as the opening duo both registered centuries on their way to put up a 200-run partnership. Sharma ended the match unbeaten at 111 while Dhawan was run-out at 114, as team India remain unbeaten in the ongoing Asia Cup.

Indian coach. Ravi Shastri, got onto the ground to conduct a post-match interview of the heroes of the day as the former Indian batsman quizzed the duo on their sizzling chemistry on the pitch.

"The first five overs is all cricket talk, but after that it’s just, me and Shikhar talk about different stuff from our old days. But in the first six overs we decide and always talk about what we need to do, where we need to play singles, who are the fielders that are struggling. Once we play6-7 overs, then it’s better to let Shikhar be alone," said stand-in skipper - Rohit Sharma.

Meanwhile, the left-handed opener admitted that he was proud of his performance against Pakistan and would gladly tell his kids about it in the future.

"It’s a very proud moment for me. Of course, we both did a great job today. Yeah, it’s good to play against a good attack and scoring a hundred is always satisfying and now when I get old, I will tell tell my kids that I scored a hundred against Pakistan. Whenever you play against Pakistan, its a very special moment and we’ll like to keep going more like this in the future and we hope our partnership goes well for the Indian team," added Dhawan.

India would take on Afghanistan in the last super-four encounter on Tuesday and Shastri will hope that ‘The Hitman’ and ‘Gabbar’ continue their scintillating performance once more.
