Inzamam-ul-Haq was been famous for his run outs during his playing days and those wounds for Pakistan fans have once again been opened after his nephew Imam-ul-Haq's involvement in a bizarre run-out. Against Northamptonshire, Imam tackled Azhar Ali to run out the latter in the second innings.

Inzamam-ul-Haq was an extraordinary batsman in his playing days and his classical batting skills to go along with that lazy elegance was second to none. Despite his lazy posture, his shorts were a treat for cricket fans which made him one of the best players to play the game of cricket. However, his run-outs were equally famous in that period as his tendency to either be run-out or get his partner dismissed are as memorable as the matches that he won for his country.

And again in 2018, those memories has come back to the fore when it’s his nephew Imam-ul-Haq’s displayed the same approach while taking a run. In Pakistan’s tour match against Northamptonshire, Imam was involved in a comical dismissal with Azhar Ali that would have forced Inzamam to take a notice. Imam knocked the ball to fine leg and took off running and instead of looking at his partner, he was guilty of watching the ball. Ali, despite his best attempts to avoid a collision, ended up tackling Imam to the floor. Ali kept moving to the danger end but it was too late as a direct hit from Ricardo Vasconcelos saw the experienced Pakistan star making his way back to the dressing room.

Pakistan eventually beat Northamptonshire by 9 wickets with Imam-ul-Haq unbeaten on 59.
