Very few teams in the IPL have been successful in winning the coveted trophy without many stalwarts in the team and KKR has been exemplary in successfully making the perfect blend of stars and raw talent. They kick-off the 2018 campaign with a similar plan yet again, as fans wait with baited breath.

Known mainly for their audacious decision-making in the face of calamity, the Kolkata-based franchise has always been a top contender in the IPL since its inception. However, after their earlier strategy of competing with a star-studded side - which had Chris Gayle, Ricky Ponting, Brendon McCullum and more - failed terribly, the Shahrukh Khan-owned team seemed to have found the winning formula.

However, it is time they prove their mettle again as they embark on a new journey without their proven leader Gautam Gambhir, who left the side to join his hometown Delhi Daredevils. KKR management has, however, stuck to their full-proof policy at the auctions that saw some really exciting youngsters coming to the side to rub shoulders with the superstars.

With the side kicking-off their campaign against their favorite opponents in the league, Royal Challengers Bangalore, on April 8, we have this special quiz for you to test your knowledge of Kolkata Knight Riders. Do take this quiz and let us know your result by tweeting us on @IndiaSportscafe.
