Mohammad Kaif rose to fame when he guided the India U-19 team to the U-19 World Cup title in 2000 where he was captain and was regarded as one of the best fielders to have played for India due to his great athletic prowess and throwing skills. Kaif was most recently appointed as the fielding coach of the Chennai Super Kings franchise for the 2018 edition of the IPL.
The 37-year-old cricketer took to popular social media site Twitter yesterday in order to conduct an online Q&A with fans, where he answered their queries about his career and his thoughts on the current Indian team. One of the most controversial replies by Kaif was the one where he confirmed that former English cricketer Naseer Hussain called him a ‘Bus driver’ during the final ODI of the Natwest series in 2002.
After a fan asked Kaif if he was indeed called a 'Bus driver' by former England cricketer Naseer Hussain, Kaif replied,
Yes, Nasser Hussain actually called me a Bus driver :) was good to take them for a ride !

On being questioned over the credibility of the impressive Indian team, Kaif said,
Very bright future. New players are well organised, know how to handle pressure. A captain leading from the front. I think they will win test series overseas.

Kaif had this reply when asked if he ever endured sledging from Pakistan players throughout his career.
